The HK Prize is an annual award presented by the HK Academy of Performing Arts (HKAI) in recognition of excellence in performance, production and management. The awards are designed to support and encourage performers from Hong Kong and the region, while promoting high-quality and innovative works to the world.
Winners of the HK Prize will receive increased international visibility and top-tier media coverage, including the hk prize news website and social media platforms; exclusive networking opportunities and access to world-class studios at HKAI; and the chance to participate in HKGNA’s Masterclasses. Semi-finalists and finalists who demonstrate great promise will be invited to join the HK GNA Fellowship Program and may be offered opportunities to perform in upcoming HKGNA concert events.
The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize, hosted by Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation and title sponsored by BOCHK Limited, rewards scientific researchers and research-related institutions set up by higher education institutions in the Greater Bay Area for their outstanding achievements in fostering scientific and technological innovations and transforming their inventions for society’s benefit. The selection process is carried out by a panel of distinguished scholars and experts from Hong Kong and abroad.
Applicants are welcomed from Southeast Asia, mainland China and the rest of the world. The application process will be divided into three rounds, starting from March 1 and ending on September 30. The winners will be announced in three waves: Southeast Asian residents first; then mainland Chinese; and then, international applicants. Each round will have a different evaluation criteria. The final result will be based on the overall evaluation of each entry by a panel of judges. The results of each round will be announced within six weeks after the deadline for submissions. Each submission will be reviewed by a panel of experts and subjected to a rigorous examination process. The decisions made by the panel are final and cannot be appealed.
